Key Responsibility Areas (KRA):
Operational Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and implement operational strategies in line with the company's overall goals and growth plans.
- Oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the CEO and other C-suite executives to translate the company's vision into executable business plans.
- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability across the organization.
Production and Supply Chain Management:
- Ensure seamless and timely production processes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Optimize the supply chain to reduce costs, ensure sustainability, and maintain reliable sourcing of precious materials (gems, metals, etc.).
- Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure access to the finest materials and avoid disruptions.
Sales and Retail Operations:
- Oversee the management of retail stores, online platforms, and high-profile sales channels, ensuring a premium shopping experience.
- Work with the sales teams to drive revenue growth, monitor KPIs, and ensure alignment with brand goals.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve store performance and customer service standards.
- Ensure proper training and development programs for retail staff to maintain luxury service standards.
Brand and Marketing Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align operational activities with brand-building campaigns.
- Support product launches and brand events, ensuring operational readiness (from product availability to staffing).
- Help oversee public relations and strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and prestige.
Financial Oversight and Cost Management:
- Work with the finance team to create and manage operational budgets.
- Ensure cost-effectiveness across all operational functions without compromising on quality or brand reputation.
- Monitor financial performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve profitability.
- Oversee pricing strategies and product margins in line with market demands and the brand's luxury positioning.
Customer Experience and Satisfaction:
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving the overall customer experience, ensuring a seamless and high-touch service across all touchpoints (in-store, online, after-sales service).
- Implement feedback systems to address client concerns, monitor satisfaction, and continuously improve service quality.
- Drive client retention through personalized services and exclusive customer programs.
Technology and Innovation:
- Implement and upgrade technology solutions (ERP, CRM, e-commerce platforms) to streamline operations.
- Ensure that the brand stays ahead in terms of digital transformation, from online retail strategies to omnichannel integration.
- Explore new tools and technologies (3D printing, AI-driven customization) that enhance product quality and reduce lead times.
Team Management and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate senior management and department heads.
- Foster a collaborative, results-driven environment where employees can thrive and contribute to the company's success.
- Ensure that talent acquisition, retention, and employee development plans are in place to meet the company's needs.
Compliance and Sustainability:
- Ensure adherence to all legal and industry regulations, including ethical sourcing of materials (conflict-free diamonds, sustainable practices).
- Lead initiatives for sustainability and environmental impact, ensuring alignment with global standards and customer expectations.
Business Development and Expansion:
- Identify new opportunities for growth, including market expansion, new product lines, and partnerships.
- Drive initiatives to expand the brand's presence in key luxury markets and strengthen its competitive position.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in senior leadership roles, preferably in luxury, fashion, or jewelry sectors.
- Skills: Strategic thinking, operational efficiency, team leadership, financial acumen, luxury market understanding.
- Education: MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business or related field.
