Pricing Analyst

• Support the Pricing function on strategic pricing and rate card refresh for AM and GN
• Help run data analytics to support rate card refresh
• Work with SMEs to create pricing models factoring in competitive pricing, customer willingness to pay and next best alternatives and existing baseline
• Support Pricing and Product teams on product simplification and standing up a rationalized product hierarchy
• Create a database of historical pricing including products sold, pricing, discounting
• Stand up regular reporting on pricing realization

Pricing Analyst Deliverables:

• Pricing database with comprehensive historical data
• Simplified product hierarchy
• Pricing refresh tools - analytical models
• Preparing and presenting pricing analysis findings to executives and commercial teams

Pricing Analyst Requirements:

• Relevant experience in pricing and/or finance roles
• Required Skills:
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Excel,Tableau, etc)
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with and interpret complex data
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfort with complex models; some understanding of technology / software /services pricing
• Ability to deliver high quality work while meeting aggressive deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment requiring a flexible work schedule (end of quarter, peak sales activity support needs)
• Preferred Skills: Prior experience as a pricing analyst or a similar analytical role
• Education: Bachelor s degree from an accredited university or comparable work experience
