Senior Software Engineer

So, what’s the role all about?

As a senior software engineer, you're entrusted with a pivotal role in the development process, leveraging your extensive experience and technical prowess to drive the creation of complex software solutions. Looking for detail-oriented Java software engineer to continue the evolution of our big data framework for speech and text analytics. Our team provides bedrock functionality for most of Nexidia's products, so be prepared to learn your way around a large, mature codebase.

How will you make an impact?  

Degree in Computer Science, Industrial/Electronic Engineering Contributions to a major open-source project

Experience with Elasticsearch and RabbitMQ are strong plusses.

Experience with asynchronous programming, Java, Gradle, Derby, Jersey, Jetty, Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, JMX, WiX, MSI Experience developing enterprise-grade software products that can perform, scale, and integrate into a broad enterprise ecosystem.

Have you got what it takes?  

IT experience 4-7 years. Experience in high performance, highly available, and scalable systems Deep knowledge and experience with software design patterns and how they can effectively be incorporated into software design and when not. Passion to educate and mentor others in engineering best practices and patterns - team player. Experience working with Agile/SCRUM/Agile software development methodology. Great initiative - proven ability to tackle projects with a can-do attitude.  Proven experience in operating within a global environment.

You will have an advantage if you also have: 

Familiarity and/or experience with public cloud infrastructures and technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) Knowledge of Microservices and/or Cloud-Native Development
