Job Description
Design experimental protocols and research plans to investigate bioethanol production processes, including evaluating different feedstocks, enzymes, microorganisms, and process conditions. Conduct laboratory experiments to assess the performance of various components in bioethanol production, utilizing analytical techniques like chromatography, spectrophotometry, and molecular biology assays. Interpret experimental results, identify trends, and propose modifications or optimizations to enhance process efficiency and yield. Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, data, and results in compliance with laboratory standards and regulations. Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate research findings internally, facilitating knowledge sharing and decision-making. Develop and implement protocols for the upstream processing of bioethanol, including extraction and purification of target compounds from fermentation broth. Operate and maintain extraction equipment such as HPLC, RP-HPLC, and other large-scale bio molecule extraction machineries, performing chromatographic separations and filtration to obtain high-purity products. Requirements. Tech, M. 2-5 years of experience in laboratory research,upstream and downstream processing. Proficiency in upstream and downstream processing of bioethanol and protein extraction. Strong knowledge of batch and fed-batch fermentation techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Benefits. Upon receipt of the application, the HR Team shall send a simple quick questionnaire as an Assessment test to move forward to the evaluation process. There will be a telephone interview of shortlisted candidates after the evaluation of the questionnaire. Shortlisted candidates should go through a final round of interviews via Online Interviews on Zoho Meeting or in Person. Selected candidates shall be intimated via mail directly by the HR Team and the orientation process will follow. Post intimation and dispatch of offer letters, the on-boarding process will begin and job roles will be assigned. Requirements. Qualifications; Masters, or Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. For Masters/Ph.D. degree holders:Prior research experience in molecular biology/biochemistry, demonstrated through publications or projects. For Masters degree holders:Minimum of 2 year of relevant laboratory experience. Skills Proficiency in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques such as PCR, cloning, Western blotting, protein expression, and purification. Experience with bioinformatics tools for data analysis and interpretation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Work closely with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate research efforts and achieve project milestones
