Java Developer

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java applications in line with business objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize project requirements.

Understand user needs and ensure the final product aligns with those requirements.

Write clean, testable, and efficient Java code.

Debug and test software to ensure high-quality outputs.

Prepare design documentation and user support materials.

Propose improvements to existing Java applications or infrastructure.

Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance.

Utilize tools like Git, Maven, Docker, and AWS to manage project dependencies.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Proficiency in Java with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

Experience with design patterns, concurrency, and web application frameworks.

Experience of database structures, MVC architecture, JDBC, RESTful services, GUI frameworks, and automated testing platforms.

Experience with code versioning tools (Git) and build tools (Maven).
