Newgen DigitalWorks - Mobile Developer - SWIFT/Kotlin (5-8 yrs)

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Developer to contribute to the development, enhancement, and ongoing support of a mobile app for a web-based financial product. The ideal candidate will be proficient across all stages of the application development lifecycle, including testing, release, and deployment, with a strong focus on high-quality, secure, and stable code.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and architects, to plan, design, and develop the mobile application.

- Conduct ongoing unit testing and code reviews to ensure high software quality, security, and stability.

- Gather and analyze customer requirements, translating them into detailed application designs and documentation.

- Develop and maintain integrations with APIs, ensuring smooth data interchange between the server and users.

- Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement and refine the visual elements of the application.

- Configure and manage automated build, test, and deployment processes to streamline development workflows.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years of relevant software development experience.

- Expertise in React Native, Swift, and Kotlin.

- Strong communication and time management skills.

- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN, CVS) and continuous integration/deployment environments.

- In-depth understanding of object-oriented application development techniques and design patterns.

ADDITIONAL NOTES :

- The primary focus of current support will be on React Native.

- New development and rework will primarily be in Kotlin and Swift.
