Position Description: Legal Counsel

- At Clicktech, as Legal Counsel, you will support diversified business teams across India consumer business on a broad range of legal, commercial, technology, privacy, compliance and regulatory matters.

0 You will be responsible for advising the business on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters and structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial transactions.

- You will work on complex and evolving regulations governing the business operations in India.

- You will also have the opportunity to lead initiatives in liaison with diverse stakeholders including tax, litigation, finance, HR, public relations and public policy teams.

The position is based in Bangalore and requires the candidate to work in office. Domestic Travel may be needed as per the business requirements.

Basic Qualification:

- LLB (Undergraduate Law degree) from a top tier university in India. Company Secretary will be an added advantage.

- A minimum of 5 - 8 years of legal experience in law firm or in-house role, preferably with some portion of that experience in technology and commercial transactions

- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing E-commerce Marketplace in India. Hands-on experience in FDI law, Intellectual Property law, Consumer Protection law, Information Technology Law, Competition Law and Advertising Laws.

- High degree of independence, initiative, and decisiveness but also a desire to be challenged and think outside the box.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as demonstrated proficiency in working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization.

- A team player and consensus builder with great people skills who can effectively and efficiently collaborate and build relationships with attorneys and business clients at all levels throughout the organization.

- Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.

- Sound legal and business judgment especially in ambiguous situations.

- Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity.
