Define and execute a strategy for enabling New Relic features and experiences with generative AI and other AI/ML models.
Effectively shepherd the development and maturation of New Relic AI features and platform, from ideation through to production scaling and monetization.
Demonstrate the ability to lead multiple engineering teams toward common goals and compelling visions.
Operate at multiple organizational and strategic levels, from hands-on execution to securin C-Suite buy-in for high-risk, high-reward initiatives.
Clearly communicate a vision and achievable goals in a rapidly changing space, leveraging continuously evolving technology.
Work cross-functionally and with product teams to secure buy-in, foster relationships with product peers, and help the company achieve ambitious goals.
Manage resources, timelines, and project scopes effectively, wearing your project manager hat when necessary.
Your Qualifications
Must-have:
7+ years of SaaS and cloud-based software product management experience.
1-2 years of experience with AI and LLM technology.
Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
Experience creating strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams.
Highly effective written and verbal communication and the ability to explain complex technical design in 20 seconds or 20 minutes, depending on the audience and goals
Ability to combine data-driven approaches with strong user empathy to figure out what / when / why to ship
Good negative capability: Confidence in navigating ambiguous and vague problem definitions and the ability to refine them into an actionable plan
Demonstrated strong ownership and execution skills.
Nice-to-have :
Experience building and launching a multi-purpose generative AI assistant.
Experience in the observability sector.
Startup experience showcasing your ability to pitch ideas and generate interest and buy-in. You are a self-starter with experience leading teams through influence rather than authority.
Ability to operate successfully in a lean, agile, and fast-paced organization
Can demonstrate and articulate past product decisions, product architecture, and conflict management examples.
