Marketing Trainee

Key Responsibilities

1. SEO Page Creation

• Build SEO-optimized pages on WordPress using a provided framework; apply on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headers, keywords).
• Suggest and implement improvements in layout and content to enhance engagement and traffic.

2. Social Media Management

• Manage the social media calendar, ensuring consistent engagement on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
• Coordinate with content creators and designers; contribute ideas for posts, stories, and campaigns.
• Monitor channels and use analytics tools to optimize strategy.

3. Content Strategy & Recycling

• Assist in planning the monthly content strategy and adapt content for different formats
• Test content formats and collaborate with design, video, and content teams for execution.

4. Community Building on Quora & Reddit

• Build our presence on Quora and Reddit by identifying key topics and contributing to relevant discussions.
• Coordinate with student contributors and assist in creating high-quality responses aligned with our brand.

5. Performance Analytics

• Track content performance across all channels using analytics tools
• Analyze data to provide actionable insights; suggest improvements for content visibility and engagement.

Ideal candidate will have

- Basic understanding of SEO and interest in learning on-page optimization and WordPress.

- Strong writing skills, with an ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.

- An eye for design and a knack for creating visually appealing content in collaboration with the design team.

- Social media savvy, with experience using platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, and Quora.

- Analytical mindset, eager to learn and apply tools like Google Analytics or social media insights to track performance.
