Assist in configuring, deploying, and maintaining Fortigate firewalls for clients and internal networks.
Perform basic security assessments and implement security best practices to safeguard client systems.
Respond to security incidents and participate in root-cause analysis to mitigate risks.
Implement basic network topologies,including LANs and WANs.
Configure network protocols likeTCP/IP, IP addressing, and routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP).
Set up and configure networksecurity features, such as firewalls and access control lists (ACLs).
Monitor network performance andidentify potential issues using tools like Cisco CLI and SNMP.
Troubleshoot network connectivityproblems and resolve network outages.
Provide technical support to end-users fornetwork-related issues
Requirements Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Basic understanding of network security concepts (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, etc.).
Familiarity with Fortigate firewalls is preferred.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and OSI model is a plus.

- Certification in Fortinet NSE 1/NSE 2 or similar cybersecurity certifications are preferred.
- Hands-on experience (internship, project work, or self-learning) with network security tools or firewalls are preferred.
