Principal Solution Architect (.NET)

Job Summary:

As a Principal Solution Architect (.NET), The candidate will lead Caresmartz teams, ensuring solutions meet standards and lead project lifecycles. Strong communication and collaboration skills, alongside expertise in Azure, .NET, and database management, are essential for this candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design and Solutioning:

- Design and architect technical solutions using Microsoft Azure cloud services and hosting solutions in private/public cloud environments.

- Develop high-level architecture designs, detailed technical specifications, and work breakdown structures (WBS) for projects.

- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices, particularly in Microsoft-centric solutions on Azure IaaS and PaaS platforms, Cache.

2. Azure Cloud Expertise:

- Demonstrate expertise in Azure cloud security controls, including authentication mechanisms, role-based access, encryption, and key management.

- Implement cloud patterns and best practices, aligning with the Well Architected Framework on Azure.

- Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Queues, Azure Functions, Event Grid, Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Service Bus, Redis Cache etc.

3. Database Management:

- Proficiency in database technologies including Azure SQL Server and Cosmos DB.

- Experience in optimizing database performance, designing complex stored procedures, and utilizing database functions.

- Knowledge of database elasticity and scalability principles to ensure efficient utilization of resources.

4. Development and Integration:

- Provide strong guidance on the development of RESTful API ecosystems, leveraging .NET in the backend and React in the frontend.

- Ensure integration of Microservices (SAGA, CQRS) and adoption of DevOps practices using tools like Yaml, Terraform, and ARM templates.

5. Project Management and Leadership:

- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles in a solution architect capacity, collaborating with Agile teams and utilizing Agile tools and practices.

- Provide efficient guidance to developers in analysis and troubleshooting situations, fostering a collaborative team environment.

- Participate in internal and external technical reviews, contributing expertise and insights to enhance project outcomes.

6. Quality Assurance and Performance Optimization:

- Ensure adherence to web-based performance, scalability, and quality standards, leveraging tools such as TDD, XUnit, Postman, etc.

- Implement security best practices throughout the development lifecycle and optimize application performance and reliability using Azure monitoring and diagnostics tools.

Requirements:

The candidate must possess the ability to write complex code and develop architectures.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 🏅Microsoft Certified Azure Solution Architect certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 14 years of experience in client-facing roles, with a strong emphasis on consultative solutioning and software development.
• Extensive experience in solution or technical architect roles, with at least 5 years specifically in Azure cloud services and hosting solutions.
• Proficiency in .NET development with hands-on coding experience; familiarity with other languages is advantageous.
• Understanding of DevOps platforms and tools, automated deployment, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience working with SAAS-based products.
• Accountability for speed and performance tuning, among other responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with coworkers and external customers.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead technical teams, drive project outcomes, and offer strategic guidance on technology initiatives.
