Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

- Enhance the E-Pharmacy Experience : Elevate the user interface (UI) of our online store, focusing on intuitive navigation, clear product displays, and a streamlined checkout process to improve the overall shopping experience.

- Optimize for Health : Design and develop features that support medication management, prescription refills, and personalized health recommendations, enabling a seamless and efficient user journey.

- Prioritize Accessibility : Ensure our platform is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, by adhering to web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.

- Collaborate for Health Outcomes : Work closely with UX designers, pharmacists, and back-end developers to create a seamless, user-friendly, and informative e-pharmacy experience that meets the needs of both users and healthcare professionals.

- Stay Current with Healthcare Tech : Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging trends in e-pharmacy and healthcare technology to ensure our platform remains innovative, competitive, and up-to-date.

- Develop and Maintain Front-End Code : Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code using modern JavaScript frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, and Tailwind CSS.

- Collaborate with Design Teams : Work alongside UI/UX designers to convert design mockups and wireframes into responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing web applications.

- Integrate Backend Services : Integrate REST APIs and other backend services to deliver smooth, interactive user experiences for tasks like medication management and prescription refills.

- Optimize User Experience : Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to improve performance, enhance load times, and ensure responsive behavior across devices and browsers.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with back-end developers, pharmacists, and UX/UI designers to create a cohesive and effective platform that meets the needs of both users and stakeholders.

- Code Quality and Reviews : Participate in code reviews, maintain best practices, and ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and unit tests.

- Mobile Responsiveness : Ensure the platform is mobile-first, maintaining responsiveness and performance across a wide range of devices.

- Agile Practices : Engage in Agile methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to foster a collaborative and productive development environment.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 4+ years of professional experience in front-end development, preferably in e-commerce or healthcare-related projects.

- Strong proficiency in React.js, Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern JavaScript frameworks.

- Experience working with RESTful services and integrating APIs to connect the front end with back-end systems.

- Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques and debugging, especially for high-load applications.

- Expertise in building mobile-first, responsive applications and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.

- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git, for managing codebase and collaboration.

- Experience with writing unit tests and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

- Familiarity with modern frontend build tools like Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn, and frontend pipelines.

- Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and strategies for resolving them
