Job Summary :

- 3+ years of experience in Linux Administration and troubleshooting.

- Certification (RHCE and AWS).

- Experience with AWS in an enterprise environment.

- Experience in Redhat Satellite Server Administration.

- Experience with automation including deployments and configuration management.

- OS and Hardware firmware upgrades.

- Must have experience in scripting such as Bash, Perl, Python & Ansible.

- Installing and configuration of High Availability environment.

- Fine-tuning system for optimal performance.

- Good Knowledge in Linux OS (Redhat, Oracle Linux, Cent OS, Ubuntu, OpenSuse, Debian) along with patching and Rollback.

- Good Knowledge in Web servers like Apache, Apache Tomcat, NGINX.

- Good Knowledge in Firewalls (IPTables) and SELinux.

- Good Knowledge in installing and troubleshooting LDAP, DNS, DHCP, LVM's, NFS.

- Good Knowledge in user administration, file systems and Logs.

- Software package installation experience (deb, rpm, etc.,).

- Knowledgeable in Linux internals to debug and solve installation issues environment, drivers, libraries, etc.,.

- Knowledge of databases like Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, etc.

- Setup and Configure Red Hat Satellite and Kickstart Servers for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9 installs and RHN Push Updates.

Good to have :

- Experience with Logic Monitor, Opsramp, Appd.

- Experience with Docker. Source code control (GIT-hub).

- Experience on AIX, Solaris.

Qualifications :

- Linux System Administration and Unix skills.

- Proficiency in Operating Systems and Infrastructure management.

- Strong Troubleshooting skills.

- Experience with AWS and cloud-based technologies.

- Ability to work effectively on-site in Hyderabad.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications such as RHCE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar are a plus.

Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (Red Hat, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, OpenSUSE, Debian) across physical and virtual environments.

- Perform OS and hardware firmware upgrades, patching, and rollbacks.

- Manage user administration, file systems, and logs.

- Troubleshoot complex Linux system issues, including environment, drivers, and libraries.

- Fine-tune systems for optimal performance.

- Administer Red Hat Satellite Server for patch management and system provisioning.

- Configure and maintain High Availability environments.

- Install and troubleshoot core services like LDAP, DNS, DHCP, LVM, and NFS.

- Design, deploy, and manage Linux-based workloads on AWS.

- Utilize AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, etc.) to build scalable and resilient infrastructure.

- Implement and maintain security best practices within the AWS environment.

- Troubleshoot AWS-related issues and optimize cloud resource utilization.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, Perl, and Ansible.

- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) principles for consistent and repeatable deployments.

- Automate software package installations (deb, rpm, etc.).

- Setup and configure Kickstart servers.

- Configure and manage firewalls (IPTables) and SELinux.

- Administer web servers such as Apache, Apache Tomcat, and Nginx.

- Ensure system security and compliance.

- Utilize monitoring tools (Logic Monitor, Opsramp, AppDynamics - Good to Have) to proactively identify and resolve issues.

- Analyze system logs and performance metrics to diagnose and resolve problems.

- Basic knowledge of database systems like Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
