iAM Technical Architect (7-10 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IAM Technical Architect to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Identity and Access Management (IAM) infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise in IAM concepts, technologies, and best practices, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities :

- Design and architect comprehensive IAM solutions that meet business requirements and align with security best practices.

- Develop and maintain IAM roadmaps, strategies, and architectures.

- Lead the implementation and integration of IAM systems and tools.

- Define and enforce IAM policies, standards, and procedures.

- Evaluate and select IAM technologies and vendors.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IAM engineers and other team members.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., security, IT, application development) to integrate IAM into various systems and applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest IAM trends, technologies, and threats.

- Ensure compliance with relevant security and privacy regulations.

- Develop and deliver IAM training and documentation.

- Participate in security audits and assessments.

Required Skills :

- IAM Concepts : Deep understanding of IAM principles, including authentication, authorization, access management, identity lifecycle management, and privileged access management.

- IAM Technologies : Extensive experience with various IAM technologies, such as :

1. Identity Providers (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity)

2. Access Management Systems (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt)

3. Privileged Access Management (PAM) Solutions (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust)

4. Directory Services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP)

5. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

6. Single Sign-On (SSO)

- Security Best Practices : Strong understanding of security best practices related to identity and access management.

- Architecture and Design : Proven ability to design and architect complex IAM solutions.

- Communication and Leadership : Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Scripting/Programming : Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Java) for automation and integration.
