About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of large-scale cloud solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, optimize, and enhance cloud capabilities, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud platforms, automation, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Cloud Deployment & Support: Implement and support large-scale cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Product Owners to understand solution requirements and define architectural patterns.
• Documentation: Collaborate with lead architects and engineers to create and maintain architectural templates and operational documentation.
• Solution Architecture: Design and implement cloud solutions, including automation, deployment, and programming.
• Migration Strategies: Develop strategies for migrating applications and workloads to the cloud.
• Integration Support: Assist development and engineering teams in resolving integration issues between applications and cloud platforms.
• Capability Enhancement: Enhance cloud capabilities by designing and implementing reusable cloud application patterns.
• Service Catalog Development: Partner with DevOps, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams to develop and maintain service catalogs.
• Automation Solutions: Design and implement cloud automation solutions for managing and scaling containers, hosts, cloud services, and applications.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance of cloud resources with industry standards, guardrails, and best practices.
• Research & Optimization: Conduct research and propose new cloud solutions for management and optimization.
• Requirement Analysis: Work closely with IT suppliers to understand their cloud requirements and translate them into a consolidated cloud requirements matrix.
• Vendor Liaison: Act as a liaison with cloud providers to address queries, analyze proposals, compare features, pricing, and service levels to support negotiation strategies.
• Primary Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for cloud provider interactions, ensuring smooth communication and prompt issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Cloud Expertise: Strong experience in cloud architecture and implementation on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Automation & IaC: Hands-on expertise in cloud automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and deployment strategies.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Terraform for automation.
• Security & Compliance: Deep understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices.
• Containerization: Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• DevOps Knowledge: Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and cloud service catalogs.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze cloud provider proposals and optimize cost structures, performance, and service levels.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, focusing on cloud-based integration challenges.
• Communication: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
