Title: Academic Compliance Officer

Summary:
Academic Compliance Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the College adheres to all accreditation standards and regulations. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance program for academic programs, focusing on curriculum development, branch campus selection, program delivery and assessment standardisation, with overall responsibility of developing, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive compliance program across various campus.
Major Responsibilities:
○ Collaborate with faculty and academic departments to develop and review new program curricula, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and learning outcomes.
○ Conduct thorough curriculum reviews for existing programs to identify areas for improvement and ensure continued compliance.
○ Develop and maintain templates and guidelines for curriculum development.
○ Create a comprehensive checklist outlining key criteria for selecting new branch campus locations.
○ Assist with the evaluation of potential branch campuses based on the established checklist.
○ Ensure compliance with all accreditation regulations and state/federal laws regarding branch campus operations.
○ Lead the development of standardised processes and tools for delivering academic programs across all campuses.
○ Oversee the implementation of standardised assessment methods for program effectiveness and student learning outcomes.
○ Conduct training sessions for faculty and staff on standardised program delivery and assessment procedures.
○ Stay current on all relevant accreditation standards and regulations, including federal and state laws governing higher education.
○ Conduct regular audits and reviews of academic programs to identify and address any compliance issues.
○ Prepare reports and presentations on compliance activities for the Dean of Academic Affairs and other stakeholders.
○ Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance resource library for faculty and staff.
○ Collaborate with other departments, such as IT, Admissions, and Student Services, to ensure compliance across all aspects of the academic experience.
○ Serve as a resource for faculty and staff on compliance issues related to academic programs.
○ Stay abreast of emerging trends in higher education compliance and recommend necessary adaptations to internal policies and procedures.
