Procurement Executive

Primary Responsibilities

1. Strategic Procurement:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals to achieve cost optimization and operational excellence. 

1. Vendor Management:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers. Build and maintain long-term relationships while ensuring quality and timely delivery. 

1. Cost Analysis & Negotiation:

• Conduct detailed cost analyses, negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to maximize value. 

1. Techno-Commercial Evaluation:

• Assess technical and commercial aspects of quotations, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and budgets. 

1. Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts. Implement effective supply chain solutions. 

1. Purchase Orders & Documentation:

• Manage procurement workflows, including issuing purchase orders and maintaining accurate records. 

1. Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including price volatility, supply disruptions, and quality concerns. 

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align procurement decisions with project requirements. 

1. Market Research:

• Stay updated on industry trends, new suppliers, and innovative procurement practices. 

Knowledge, Experience and Skills  Qualification BE / BSC/ Diploma Engineering /MBA in Supply Chain Management Duration  5 + years Skills  Certifications such as CPP, CPSM, or Six Sigma. Experience with global sourcing and import/export processes. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and ESG procurement practices. Strong knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Solid understanding of technical specifications and cost analysis. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
