Job description: Primary Skills

• Proven experience in White box Testing (Unit Testing, Integration testing or etc) on Latest versions of Android Platform.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin Programming and scripting (Python, bash).
• Strong Knowledge on Android or Linux Build environment, Android Architecture, IPC Communication (AIDL), Unit Testing Frameworks - Junit, Espresso, Mockito and Test Doubles, Test Suites (CTS, ATS and etc).
• Exposure to CI/ CD environment and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI etc.
• Strong Analytical and debugging Skills to identify source code gaps through test case development.
• Good knowledge on using Code Coverage tools (Jacoco or SonarQube).

Secondary Skills

• Effective communication skills, problem solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative.
• Experience in working with Agile scrum methodology

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain unit test cases for Android App FW and Services.
• Automate Testing Process to ensure scalability and repeatability of tests.
• Review and Analysis of Test Reports and Coverage Reports.
• Contribute to CI/ CD pipelines by integrating Automated Unit Tests.
• Suggesting best practices in Unit Testing using latest tools and frameworks for Android Testing and Automation of Test development.
• Providing Guidance to team in resolving critical issues.
