Control Engineer

The person should have hands-on experience of applications development, systems integration, testing and troubleshooting of Soft PLC/HMI/DCS using Codesys development platform. Experience of any other standard platform (Siemens, Schneider, Allen Bradley or Delta) would also be beneficial.

• Should be proficient in program development using Structured Text (ST) and ExST under Codesys Automation Server and scripting. Linux
• Should understand standard notations used in electrical systems.
• Experience of handling industrial protocols like Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet IP, DNP3, etc.-sound knowledge
• Experience in setting up and integration with OPC Server and OPC Client.- sound knowledge
• Exposure to GIT for source code control would be beneficial.
• The Controls Engineer would be responsible for designing, programming, troubleshooting, maintaining, and updating PLC PLC-based system using the Codesys development platform.
• The person will have to understand the new and changed requirements, analyze the existing code, and convert the functional requirements into the PLC program.
• Understands and implements interlocks and safety mechanisms required in Electrical and Energy Management Systems.
• Produces and maintains wiring diagrams and control schematics (SLD) in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge on Codesys platform is must.
