Sap MM Consultant

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM (Material Management) Consultant with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing S/4HANA and converting from ECC to S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP MM module, with the ability to manage and execute end-to-end implementation projects, migrations, and provide ongoing support and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. S/4HANA Implementation:

• Lead and participate in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of the new system.

2. ECC to S/4HANA Conversion:

• Execute and manage the conversion process from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Perform system assessments and readiness checks to identify potential challenges and provide recommendations for a successful migration.
• Utilize tools and methodologies for data migration, validation, and reconciliation.

3. Configuration and Customization:

• Configure the SAP MM module according to business requirements, including Procurement, Inventory Management, Invoicing, Master Data processing and other MM processes
• Develop and implement custom enhancements and interfaces as needed to support business processes. Candidate should be able to get the custom object/requirement developed and delivered independently
• Knowledge about SAP DMS, SAP LIS etc.

4. Project Management:

• Plan, manage, and execute SAP projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including FI/CO, SD, PP, PS, PM and others, to ensure seamless integration and alignment.

5. Support and Maintenance:

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP MM solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and reliability.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including, Feasibility Study, RCA, functional specifications, configuration guides, Unit Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Stress Testing etc. and training materials.
• Generate and analyze reports to track project progress, system performance, and user adoption.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 6-9 years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant, with a proven track record of successful S/4HANA implementations and ECC to S/4HANA conversions.
• Skills and Competencies:
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM module, including procurement, inventory management, invoicing, Master data processing, MIS.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture and its advantages over ECC.
• Proficiency in SAP configuration, customization, and enhancement techniques.
• Experience with data migration tools and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Certifications:
• SAP S/4HANA Certification in SAP MM is preferred.
