Job Description
Qualification: Mechanical Engineering degree.
10 years of Working experience in the Petrochemical industry.
At least 3 TA or Pitstops actioned.
Perform FFS levels 1 2 (API 579) based on TA team request.
Check on compliance with the layout rules specific to piping design and static equipment modifications (distance between runs, position of welds and openings)
Develop the design (ASME 8 Div1 and ASME B31.3) and draft piping drawings or static equipment modifications given basic information such as PIDs, GA s, piping specifications, and Equipment arrangement drawings
Create piping transpositions and manual material take-offs.
Able to extract reports from the modeling software.
Review and check bill of material reports extracted from models.
Assist in checking when required.
Experience with flange calculations (ASME PCC-1) and conducting on-site flange assembly inspections.
