Job Description

TITLE: Software Engineer III, Retail SWS
LOCATION: Hyderabad
GRADE: 11 (7 - 9 years exp)
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Strong Programming experience with Java, VBScript/Python and SQL
Perform functional, integration, regression testing.
Experience in test automation using Cucumber BDD, Gherkin and other automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit
Experience in Agile methodologies and working in an agile team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field
A minimum 7 to 9 plus years of related experience in manual and automation testing of applications
Experience with working on automated frameworks and achieving at least 90% code coverage using automation
Ability to create test suites and formulate test strategies
A minimum 7-9 years of experience in preferred technologies
o Gherkin, BDD, TDD
o Selenium using a programming language preferably Java
o Hands on IDE preferably eclipse
o Ability to recommend tools and libraries required for test development
o Experience in both windows and linux
Strong understanding of Quality Assurance best practices
Strong troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand customer needs or expectations, business requirements and technical requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience with development tools:
o GIT
o Jira
o Confluence
o Cucumber
o Zephyr / PractiTest
Understanding and applying Software Development and Quality Assurance best practices
