Insurance Assistant

Job Brief:

The Insurance Assistants function is to be at the forefront of all commercial insurance activities of the Company and its residential properties. The selected candidate must have a clear working knowledge and understanding of Real Estate Insurance Agents, General Liability, Property Liability, Workers Compensation, EPLI and E&O.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the Company's insurance worksheets.
• Manage policy renewals, provide constant reminders and ensure timely updates.
• Analyze and interpret insurance policies and contracts. Fill-out applications.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals to Management.
• Monitor insurance claims and assist with the claims process.
• Maintain accurate records, invoices and other documentation.
• Stay updated on Insurance Industry trends and changes.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments.
• Participate in training and professional development activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance agents.
• Attend to other administrative duties and logistical support, as needed.

Requirements and Skills:

• Must be fluent in English with decent verbal and written communication skills.
• College graduate with 2-3 years of experience in Commercial Insurance.
• Excellent computer software skills, including MS Windows/Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and web-based programs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex information while able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Highly proactive team player, with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
