Job Description:
Job Title: Managed Services Application EDI Engineer
Position Summary: The Kaleris Managed Services Application EDI Engineer plays a critical role in providing expert consulting, troubleshooting, and configuration support to customers utilizing the Kaleris Terminal Operating System (TOS). This position involves delivering IT and operational support, closely monitoring system health and performance, configuring and managing EDI integrations, and proactively addressing potential issues to ensure optimal system functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and diagnose the performance of N4 TOS software and associated systems.
Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot EDI messages within the Kaleris TOS environment.
Onboard new EDI trading partners and ensure seamless integration.
Research and resolve real-time EDI errors to facilitate uninterrupted message processing.
Consult with customers to troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues.
Review and administer customer software setups and configurations, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), maintaining high service standards.
Standby for critical P1 incidents, with availability to work weekends or shifts as necessary to support customers 24/7.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree or relevant college qualification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing enterprise software applications and EDI integrations.
Strong expertise in both U.S. (ANSI X12) and UN (EDIFACT) EDI formats, including transaction sets such as BAPLIE, COPARN, COPRAR, 315 (UN/EDIFACT), and 214, 310, 322, 404 (ANSI X12).
In-depth technical expertise with a proven ability to troubleshoot software and EDI incidents effectively.
Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to client satisfaction.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience in the maritime or logistics industry is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Kaleris Terminal Operating System (TOS) is a significant advantage.
Experience working in distributed, virtual teams with effective collaboration skills.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a commitment to excellence.
Professional demeanour, strong communication skills, and ability to interact with customers.
Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
