Role & responsibilities
Sales Execution & Target Achievement:
Drive sales performance and ensure achievement of sales targets in assigned territories by managing key accounts and distributors effectively.
Sales Force Productivity: Utilize a deep understanding of sales productivity metrics and sales force efficiency to continuously improve team performance. Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to improve sales operations.
DMS & SFA Implementation: Leverage Distributor Management System (DMS) and Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools to track, analyze, and optimize sales activities, route planning, and order management.
Sales Reporting & Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain dashboards in Excel to track and report on daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance. Provide data-driven insights to the sales management team to assist in decision-making.
Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of competitors. Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and product performance.
Territory & Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retail partners.
Sales Training & Support: Provide on-ground support to sales teams, ensuring they are well-equipped with knowledge, tools, and product training to enhance their selling capabilities.
Travel and Field Visits: Willingness to travel a minimum of 10 days per month to meet customers, conduct sales reviews, and ensure the implementation of sales strategies on the ground.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in FMCG sales, specifically in a TSI (Territory Sales Incharge) role, managing field sales teams or territory sales operations.
Sales Tools Proficiency: Experience with Distributor Management System (DMS) and Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools to track and manage sales performance.
Sales Metrics Knowledge: Solid understanding of sales productivity metrics (e.g., sales per distributor, sales per SKU, hit rate, etc.) and how to leverage them to drive performance improvement.
Excel Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create, analyze, and present sales dashboards and performance reports.
Travel Flexibility: Open to frequent travel (minimum 10 days per month) to support field sales activities, meet with distributors, and manage key customer relationships.
