A Senior Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of an organization's databases. Designing and implementing database solutions that meet the organization's requirements for performance, scalability, and reliability. Maintaining and monitoring database systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and meeting performance targets. Performing database backups, restores, and disaster recovery operations to ensure the integrity of the data. Optimizing database performance by fine-tuning queries, indexes, and other database objects. Ensuring the security of the database by implementing access controls, encryption, and other security measures.
