Product Quality Head - EMS Division - Dabaspet(Bangalore) - Nash

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Quality to lead and drive quality initiatives across our EMS Division, with a focus on enhancing plant efficiency and driving superior quality performance.

This senior leadership role will be based out of our Bengaluru location and will involve overseeing multiple manufacturing plants to ensure the highest standards of quality.

Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (EEE) / Electronics Engineering (EC) or equivalent.

Industry Experience: Minimum 20 years of experience in quality management, with a strong background in the Consumer Electronics or EMS Manufacturing industry.

Work Location : Bengaluru (Dabaspet Plant)

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Quality Leadership: Lead the formulation and execution of quality strategies across multiple plants, driving initiatives to improve overall plant efficiency and product quality

• Policy Development & Implementation: Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality policies and procedures to ensure consistent and sustainable performance.

• Customer Relationship Management: Manage and resolve customer complaints, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective actions. Oversee warranty analysis and define preventive measures to minimize issues.

• Process Improvement: Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other best practices to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, enhancing quality and operational efficiency.

• Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to drive quality improvements and foster a culture of quality excellence.

• Customer & Supplier Quality Management: Oversee and support the development of robust processes for supplier quality management and customer quality feedback systems.

• Training & Development: Lead the development of training programs to enhance the quality capabilities of team members across plants.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Expertise in Quality Tools & Standards: In-depth knowledge of TPS, BPS, IATF, PPAP, FMEA, PCP, SPC, MSA, and 7QC tools. Strong expertise in ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001.
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading quality teams and driving organizational change to achieve quality excellence.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex quality data and resolve issues effectively using structured methodologies like FMEA and root cause analysis.
