📌 Job Title:

📍 Location:

  • FMCG / Household Consumables / Basic Cleaning Products.

🎯 Job Objective:

The Sales Executive / Officer will be responsible for establishing the initial distribution network for the companys products in General Trade (GT). The role includes identifying & onboarding distributors, wholesalers, and retailers for products such as Garbage Bags, Ziplock Bags, Aluminum Foils, Butter Paper, Parchment Paper Rolls, and Basic Cleaning Products. The candidate will ensure sales growth, market penetration, and brand visibility.

📢 Key Responsibilities:

1️⃣ Market Development & Distribution Setup

  • Identify and onboard distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in Tier-1 cities.
  • Establish a strong distribution network for the company's products in household consumables & cleaning segments.
  • Develop relationships with kirana stores, supermarkets, wholesalers, and stockists.

2️⃣ Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve sales targets and ensure product availability in General Trade.
  • Conduct regular market visits to drive primary and secondary sales.
  • Negotiate and finalize trade margins, schemes, and credit terms with channel partners.

3️⃣ Brand Visibility & Promotion

  • Ensure proper display & merchandising of products in stores.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to execute trade promotions, in-store branding, and sampling activities.
  • Educate retailers and distributors about product USPs, pricing strategies, and applications.

4️⃣ Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches in the market.
  • Provide weekly sales reports, distributor performance updates, and market feedback to management.
  • Identify growth opportunities and new markets for expansion.

🎓 Job Qualifications & Skills:

🔹 Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or any relevant field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 2-5 years of experience in General Trade sales (preferably in FMCG, Household Consumables, or Cleaning Products).
  • Experience in distributor/channel sales is a must.

🔹 Key Skills

  • Strong negotiation & sales closing skills.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Understanding of GT distribution channels, trade schemes, and retailer margins.
  • Good knowledge of local market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and expand market reach.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and CRM software.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.
  • Willing to travel extensively within assigned cities.
  • Ability to work in a startup environment with minimal supervision.
