Responsibilities :

- Technology Lead for Genomics, DH and Pathology in planning, executing and concluding regular & special breeding programs for vegetables & field crops.

- Plan, organize, & oversee operational tasks within the team, managing staff and resources for Genomics, DH and Pathology.

- Develop & maintain structures for data delivery, aiding decision-making and communication.

- Should release have regular MIS reports with analysis.

- Lead & collaborate with a team of scientists in developing a strategy for incorporating various biotic & abiotic traits in the germplasm.

- Prepare project reports with detailed insights for leadership decision-making & future research.

- Participate in product advancement meetings, sharing data & recommendations with stakeholders.

- Collaborate with Discovery Breeding, Native Traits, Genetic Project, & Enabling Technologies teams.

- Support technology integration in germplasm improvement projects.

- Collaborate with other stakeholders, ensuring effective development and delivery of efficient methods, tools, & analyses.

- Maintain timely communication with stakeholders, ensuring delivery timelines are met with appropriate follow-up.

- Develop & adhere standards and SOPs for Genomics, DH & Pathology.

- Manage budgets and team resources in line with business strategy.

- Supervise daily operations of facilities, including laboratories & greenhouses, and oversee maintenance records.

- Critical Knowledge: Proficiency in anther culture, Speed Breeding, & laboratory techniques.

- Drive implementation of cutting-edge technologies, methods & procedures by using innovative & creative thought process.

- Identify and explore internal & external opportunities for collaborations to maintain technical leadership & innovation.

- Regular participation in global or regional technical networks, including delivering presentations to project teams & stakeholders.

- Navigate diverse stakeholder needs & cultures effectively, promoting a safe work culture among ground staff.
