Nallas Corporation - ETL Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (3-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with ETL developers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans.

- Design and develop automated test scripts to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

- Execute test cases, analyze results, and identify data discrepancies or anomalies.

- Perform data profiling and validation to ensure data integrity and consistency.

- Utilize SQL queries to extract and compare data from source and target systems.

- Develop and maintain test data sets to support various testing scenarios.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing.

- Generate test reports and provide feedback to development teams on data quality issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest ETL testing methodologies and tools.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in ETL testing and automation.

- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and processes.

- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques.

- Experience with ETL testing tools and frameworks (e.g, Informatica Data Quality, QuerySurge).

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Skills :

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g, Python, Shell scripting).

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g, AWS Redshift, Snowflake).

- Experience with performance testing and optimization of ETL processes.
