The 3D Artist creates 3D art assets for Slot games, Casual games, AAA titles. This includes 3D low, mid and high Polly assets such as, Characters, Creatures, Environments, props, weapons, vehicles and furniture. The Artist is also responsible for rigging and animating 3D characters/ objects, set-up lights and final rendering. He is expected to be consistent in adhering to the design specifications and maintaining the quality of deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree or diploma in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, animation or equivalent.
• 4+ years experience in game development and 3D art-creation process.
• Strong skills in character and props modeling/sculpting, with a portfolio showcasing it.
• Strong skills in texturing, shading, lighting and rendering, supported by a strong portfolio that highlights these abilities.
• An excellent understanding of graphic design, and colour theory.
• Skilled in using industry-standard 3D and 2D software, such as Maya, Blender, Z-brush, Photoshop, Substance painter, Marmoset, KeyShot. Unity and/ or Unreal game engine.
• Ability to create a visually appealing model with a low poly count and limited textures/materials.
• Ability to rig and animate a character model to have natural motion.
• A good eye for art, and the ability to make subtle distinctions between good models and textures and ones that don't meet aesthetic requirements.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• A link of portfolio is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create realistic 3D models and textures including character, creature, architecture, inorganic objects and props in accordance with the artistic direction, production deadlines and technical specifications.
• Create both high resolution and optimized 3D models, UVs, and Textures for games.
• Sculpt/model UV & texture and integrate both high & low polygon meshes
• Develop an animation rig, blend shapes from a base model asset.
• Animate the 3D character and object as per the design specifications.
• Collaborate with Art Director to finalize artwork and animations for each project. Provide artwork and animations for review at appropriate stages and applies feedback accordingly.
• Prepare data for in-game implementation, working within production requirements in collaboration with Software team. Modify frame artwork under tight deadlines. Understands full range of game types, products and platforms.
• Analyse the requirements of different genre of games and performance in the field from a player's perspective to find industry trends, consider players in art design and discern which art approaches are most effective to appeal to players.
