Bajaj - Deputy Manager - Strategic Sourcing (3-5 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Sourcing:

- Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability.

- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the supply chain.

2. Cost Optimization:

- Develop and implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising on quality or timelines.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve best value procurement.

3. Vendor Management:

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers.

- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and service-level agreements.

4. Procurement Planning:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast procurement needs.

- Ensure alignment of sourcing strategies with business goals and objectives.

5. Risk Management:

- Assess and mitigate risks in the procurement process, including supplier dependency, delivery reliability, and price fluctuations.

- Establish contingency plans for critical materials and suppliers.

6. Compliance & Governance:

- Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Drive ESG initiatives within the procurement framework.

7. Innovation & Process Improvement:

- Explore innovative procurement practices to enhance efficiency and transparency.

- Leverage digital tools and data analytics for smarter sourcing decisions.

What we are looking for :

- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

- Deep understanding of procurement strategies and supply chain management. (Preferred industry: FMCG, Chemicals, Agro based, Pharmaceutical)

- B.E./B.Tech

- PGDM / MBA from Tier I and Tier II Institutes
