SAP PS Functional Consultant

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP PS Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the SAP Project System module and a deep understanding of project management processes. You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing SAP PS solutions, and providing ongoing support and training to users.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for project management processes.

Solution Design: Design and configure SAP PS solutions to meet business requirements, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Networks, Activities, Milestones, and Project Planning elements.

Implementation and Configuration: Implement SAP PS module components, including project definitions, structures, scheduling, budgeting, costing, resource management, and reporting.

Integration: Ensure seamless integration of SAP PS with other SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD) and third-party systems.

Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and performance of SAP PS solutions.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and project teams to ensure effective use of the SAP PS module.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the SAP PS module and related business processes.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to the SAP PS module, providing timely and effective solutions.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SAP PS Consultant, with hands-on experience in SAP PS implementation, configuration, and support.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of SAP PS module components and functionalities.

Experience with integration points between SAP PS and other SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD).

Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

SAP certification in Project System (preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

Knowledge of industry-specific project management practices.

Experience with agile project management methodologies.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position.

Occasional travel may be required depending on project needs.
