Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
• Identify, target, and acquire new large corporate clients in the general insurance space.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers at large corporate clients.
• Understand the unique insurance needs of large corporates and provide tailored solutions.
• Serve as the key point of contact for corporate clients, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
• Sales Strategy & Execution:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand market share in the large corporate sector.
• Create customized proposals and presentations for potential clients.
• Conduct regular market research to identify new business opportunities and competitive intelligence.
• Negotiate and close deals to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work with underwriting, risk assessment, and claims teams to deliver high-quality insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with marketing to generate leads and build brand awareness in the corporate sector.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new corporate accounts.
• Customer Retention & Account Management:
• Monitor ongoing accounts and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing corporate accounts.
• Address client concerns promptly and resolve issues to maintain long-term relationships.
