Application Engineer

Description of Job Role and Responsibilities:

1. Application Engineer shall be responsible for designing dehumidification systems & cilmate control systems for various applications - primarily technical selection, engineering solutions, proposal and business development case studies for various composite applications. Key emphasis will be on the ability to understand customer requirements and rapidly demonstrate how Munters solutions can be utilized to provide solutions with costing, timing, and resources included in the proposals. Cooperation with purchasing, production department and customers. Develop and verify system, design of technical solutions for industrial customer.

2. Provides support to resolve problems that may arise during developing air conditions and makes modifications as needed to meet customer requirements Determination of technicial requirement and solution Acts as a key role in improving processes and tools used within the department. Application Engineer shall be working with Sales Team and develop quick response mechanism for our customers.

Experience and Skills required:

1. Minimum of 3-5 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

2. Communication skills

3. Ability to time management and strong customer orientation

4. Ability logical and analytical solving

Key Personal Skills:
Microsoft Office 365

Great problem solving and communication skills

Ability to work on projects demanding fast respnse.

Project Management: ability to organize and manage multiple products through quotation process

Ability to work with vendors, customers and employees.

Key Competencies:
Knowledge of Psychrometry, Moisture Load Calculation, Heat Load Calculations, Air Properties, Dehumidification Systems, Dessicant wheel based Systems, Mositure removal processes, Design & Selection Softwares, Life Cycle Cost Calculations

Language Skills required:
Having permanent residence in Mumbai, with a commuting time of less than 1 hour from our office (MIDC, Andheri-E).

Academic Background:
BE/B.Tech Mechanical Engineering

Number of years of Professional Experience required:

3-5 years in Dehumidification Systems, Climate Control Systems, HVAC Applications.
