Tax Specialist - Europe

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and file VAT returns for Belgium and France within deadlines.

- Manage VAT registrations, deregistration, and compliance processes.

- Address VAT-related queries and provide actionable solutions.

- Maintain and organize documentation to support VAT filings and audits.

- Liaise with tax authorities and external consultants for audits and queries.

- Reconcile VAT accounts and resolve discrepancies.

- Stay updated on VAT law changes in Belgium and France and advise management.

- Implement best practices for VAT compliance and reporting processes.

- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to streamline tax workflows.

Qualifications:

- CA, or MBA with 5+ years or Graduate with 8+ Years of VAT compliance experience.

- Strong knowledge of Belgium and France VAT regulations.

- Logistics industry experience preferred.

- Proficiency in tax tools and ERP systems.

- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
