Design Engineer Mechanical

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations and estimations based on client requirements
• Make changes to the calculation based on feedback received from the client and obtain a final approval
• Provide technical support to sales during tendering process
• Enable the sales team make a detailed estimation table on weight, activity, specifications.
• Prepare specification of bought out items and issue order requisition to the purchase team
• Provide input to draftsman for detail manufacturing & assembly drawing
• Prepare / review bill of materials prepared by draftsmen for each order and issue to planning
• Prepare / review dispatch list and maintenance manual for each sales order

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with minimum 4+ yrs experience in crane designing.
