Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js and JavaScript to join our team. This is an individual contributor role where you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend solutions that power our applications.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js with a strong focus on scalable and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and other backend services.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in coding and design.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code.

Preferred candidate profile

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Node.js and JavaScript development.
• Strong expertise in building scalable backend solutions using Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Proficiency in database design and working with relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Good understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
