Vice President of Finance

Responsibilities

- Oversee all accounting operations, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

- Ensure financial compliance with auditors and regulatory authorities (TDS, GST), including submissions and forecasts, as well as monthly and annual closing reports.

- Coordinate and direct budget preparation and financial forecasts, reporting variances as necessary.

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow and funds flow management.

- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.

- Manage compliance with government reporting requirements and tax filings.

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.

- Create and present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.

- Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field, and a qualified Chartered Accountant with 10-15 years of post-CA experience.

- Knowledge of IFRS/IND-AS.

- Experience working with Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFC) is preferred.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to thrive in a results-driven team environment.

- Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of budgeting, cash management, and financial analysis processes.

- Familiarity with accounting principles, financial statements, practices, and procedures.

- Proficient in creating spreadsheets and using Microsoft Office and accounting software.
