Content Editor (3-5 yrs)

We are looking for a Marketing Content Editor to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and proofreading SEO-optimized content across various platforms, including blogs, comprehensive gated materials, and dynamic marketing campaign copy. This position is particularly suited for individuals with experience in content editing and writing, especially within the technology sector, with a focus on B2B as an advantage. Responsibilities:

1) Supporting Growth Marketing: Assist demand generation and growth marketers by crafting compelling copy for campaigns, including emails to prospects and customers, campaign landing pages, and other marketing materials aimed at driving engagement and conversions.

2) Creating SEO-Enhanced Content: Produce and edit SEO-optimized content across different formats, such as engaging blogs, in-depth long-form gated downloads (whitepapers, e-books, guides), and impactful web materials. Proofread, re-structure and edit articles by content writers. Use SEO expertise for keyword research and content optimisation to improve our website's visibility and search ranking, ensuring all content aligns with our marketing goals and brand voice.

3) SEO Content Strategy: Conduct competitor and keyword analysis to identify the keyword trends and create SEO content strategy to plan topics to write on. This includes blog, landing pages, and gated content.

4) Content Repurposing: Identify gaps in the current content strategy. Repurpose previously written blogs to ensure the gaps are filled.

5) New Content Ideas: Conduct competitor analysis to stay on top of identifying new content assets to work on.

6) Analyzing Content Performance: Monitor and analyze performance metrics of all content to inform strategy adjustments. Focus on optimizing content based on engagement and conversion data to enhance audience reach and the effectiveness of our content marketing efforts.

7) Editing Blogs: Collaborate with our growth marketing team to create assets for the blog. This involves integrating SEO insights to ensure content adheres to best practices and effectively targets our intended market segments.

8) Developing Organic Social Media Content: Create compelling content for various social media platforms that resonates with our target audience and drives engagement, while maintaining brand consistency across all channels.

9) Supporting Product Marketing: Work with product marketing managers to effectively translate product release notes and presentations into detailed long-form content.

Qualifications:

1) Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

2) Minimum of 3 years of experience in content editing, especially in the technology sector.

3) Strong portfolio of published or professional writing samples across various content formats, demonstrating expertise and familiarity with technology concepts

4) Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an engaging and accessible manner.

5) Solid understanding of SEO principles and practices to maximise content reach and engagement.

6) Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and the ability to adapt content across various social media platforms.
