Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and
detail-oriented Accountant with a focus on Payroll, GST (Goods and Services
Tax), to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years
of experience in accounting, payroll processing, GST compliance. This role
involves overseeing the financial operations related to payroll, tax filings,
and ensuring the smooth functioning of accounting.

Key
Responsibilities:

Payroll
Management:

• Process and manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring
  

timely and accurate payment to employees.

• Calculate and ensure compliance with all statutory
  

deductions, including taxes, provident fund (PF), and other benefits.

• Maintain records of employee payroll data, attendance,
  

and leave records.

• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve any
  

payroll-related issues.

• Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to
  

management and regulatory authorities.

GST
Compliance:

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns
  

(GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) as per statutory deadlines.

• Monitor and reconcile GST input and output tax.
  
• Maintain GST records and assist in the preparation of
  

documents for GST audits.

• Coordinate with external auditors for GST-related
  

audits and assessments.

• Stay updated with the latest changes in GST laws and
  

regulations.

Accounting
and Financial Management:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements,
  

reports, and reconciliations.

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in
  

the accounting system.

• Prepare month-end and year-end closing entries.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting
  

standards, and statutory requirements.

• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  

Other
Responsibilities:

• Provide support during internal and external audits,
  

ensuring all required documents are available and compliant.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth
  

financial operations.

• Assist in managing and improving internal controls and
  

accounting processes.

Qualifications
& Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related
  

field.

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, payroll
  

processing, and GST compliance.

• Strong understanding of Indian GST regulations and
  

payroll laws.

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally,
  

QuickBooks, SAP) and payroll software.

• Basic knowledge of IT systems and software
  

troubleshooting.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and
  

ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to
  

strict ethical standards.Proactive and able to work independently with
minimal supervision.Certification in GST or Payroll Management will be an
added advantage.
