About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled C# Test Automation Engineer with expertise in Appium and BDD frameworks (SpecFlow/Cucumber). The selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing, executing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for iOS hybrid applications while ensuring high-quality software delivery. The role requires strong analytical and debugging skills, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a passion for automation in software testing.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Automation Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# and Appium for iOS hybrid applications.

- Implement BDD frameworks (SpecFlow/Cucumber) to enhance automation coverage.

Collaboration & Coordination :

- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive automation testing.

- Assist developers in troubleshooting issues by analyzing test failures and providing insights.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Test Execution & Optimization :

- Execute and maintain automated test suites to support continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.

- Optimize test coverage and efficiency to reduce manual testing efforts.

- Ensure test scripts are robust, reusable, and scalable to accommodate future enhancements.

Defect Management & Reporting :

- Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution with the development team.

- Generate and maintain test reports, highlighting test execution status and defect trends.

- Provide recommendations for improving test strategies based on test analysis.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in C# test automation for mobile and hybrid applications.

- 2+ years of experience working with BDD frameworks (SpecFlow/Cucumber).

- Strong hands-on expertise in Appium for iOS hybrid application automation.

- Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, scripting, and debugging.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze, debug, and resolve test failures.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience in API automation testing.

- Knowledge of Cloud-based mobile testing solutions (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

- Exposure to performance and security testing methodologies.
