- The Key Account Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies to maximize sales and brand visibility across key channel partner accounts in the beauty and personal care domain (including but not limited to Nykaa, Amazon, Myntra, Reliance, & Quick commerce channels).
- This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the beauty industry, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for driving business growth through collaborative partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans tailored to each key channel partner account to drive sales and increase brand awareness in the beauty and personal care segment.
- Possess demonstrated proficiency in spearheading initiatives encompassing on-platform marketing, influencer activations, social media collaborations, and both offline & online events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders with partners, serving as the primary point of contact for all marketing-related activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and creative, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of marketing initiatives across channel partner accounts.
- Conduct regular market analysis and competitor research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and opportunities for growth within the beauty and personal care segment.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, marketing campaign effectiveness, and consumer feedback to optimize marketing strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Negotiate promotional opportunities, co-marketing initiatives, and other partnership agreements to enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth across key channel partner accounts.
- Manage marketing budgets effectively, tracking expenses and ensuring KPI targets are met.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on key account performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Closing Joint Business Plans (JBP) annually for each partner along with the business teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing including key account management experience, preferably in the beauty and personal care industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive sales growth and increase brand visibility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions within the beauty and personal care domain.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing analytics tools.
- Knowledge of the Indian beauty and personal care market landscape, including key trends, competitors, and distribution channels, is highly desirable.
