- Hiring for Data Governance Platform Administration role

Key Responsibilities :

- Platform Administration : Manage all services from the administration console, ensuring all platform components are functioning correctly and meeting operational needs.

- User & Privilege Management : Administer user creation, assign roles and privileges (RASCI Matrix), and maintain super admin rights and responsibilities.

- SAML & SCIM Configuration : Configure and manage security protocols including Native, SAML, and SCIM for seamless user authentication and integration.

- Job Scheduling and Re-assigning : Assign and re-assign scheduled jobs, monitor their execution, and ensure tasks are performed without errors or delays.

- System Installation and Configuration : Oversee platform installation on Windows and Linux environments, ensuring proper configuration and integration.

- License Management & Sub-Org Creation : Monitor and manage platform licenses, metering, and maintain sub-organizations to align with business needs.

- Connection Management : Create and manage connections to various systems, including Flat File, DB, Hadoop, and OLAP systems.

- API Integration : Perform various operations using API calls, asset import/export, and UI integration to facilitate smooth platform operation.

- Asset Management and CLI Utilities : Utilize asset management CLI utilities for creating schedules, migrating codes, and managing jobs and assets efficiently.

- Source Control & Version Control : Enable source control and version control for platform services and ensure proper permission management.

- Impact Analysis : Conduct impact analysis on new releases and updates, particularly on cloud platforms, ensuring compatibility and minimal disruption.

- Infrastructure Alerts & User Monitoring : Configure infrastructure alerts for proactive issue resolution and set up user monitoring to ensure proper usage and security.

- Backup and Recovery : Implement backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and security while minimizing downtime during disasters.

- Performance Monitoring: Monitor job performance, resource utilization, and error metrics to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.

- Audit & Best Practices: Perform regular audits to ensure the platform is being used according to industry best practices and compliance requirements.

- Troubleshooting & Logs : Diagnose issues using logs, analyze system performance, and resolve license metering and task-related problems.

Key Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in administering data governance platforms, particularly in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting services.

- Proven expertise in managing services via an administration console.

- Strong experience in SAML, SCIM, Native Authentication, and Salesforce configuration.

- Proficient in user creation, privilege assignments, and RASCI matrix management.

- Deep understanding of job scheduling, including assignment and re-assignment processes.

- Hands-on experience with platform installation on Windows and Linux environments.

- Experience in license management, metering, and maintaining sub-organizations within governance platforms.

- Skilled in creating and managing system connections, including Flat files, DBs, Hadoop, and OLAP systems.

- Expertise in utilizing API calls, asset import/export UI, and Asset Management CLI utilities.

- Familiar with enabling source control and version control within the platform.

- Experience in conducting impact analysis on new releases and cloud updates.

- Ability to configure infrastructure alerts, and proficient in user monitoring.

- Strong background in backup/recovery strategies, job performance monitoring, and troubleshooting logs.

- Excellent skills in performing audits, implementing best practices, and ensuring system compliance.

- Ability to manage license and metering issues and ensure efficient task execution across services.

Education & Certifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications in Data Governance, Informatica, or any other related platforms are a plus.

- Certification in Linux or Windows Server Administration preferred
