Sales Invoice and Dispatch Executive

Role & responsibilities:

Job Description:

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to handle basic accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform accounting entries and assist with financial transactions.

1. Accounting Entries:

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting software.
• Maintain and update accounting records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
• Ensure transactions are recorded in the appropriate accounts and classifications.

2. Reconciliation:

• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and rectify discrepancies found in financial records.

3. Invoicing and Payments:

• Process invoices, expense reports, and payment vouchers.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices and follow up on pending payments.

4. Data Entry and Documentation:

• Enter data into accounting systems and maintain accurate and organized records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

5. Support to the Finance Team:

• Provide support for month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software (preferred Tally).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good numerical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
