Junior Librarian

Degree in Library and information Science from a recognized University/ Institution.

A Junior Librarian responsibilities include:

• Assisting patrons: Helping patrons find books, check out materials, and answer questions
• Organizing materials: Shelving and organizing books, periodicals, and other materials
• Maintaining records: Keeping track of books that are checked out and returned, and registering new library cardholders
• Supporting events: Preparing materials and setting up equipment for library events
• Providing technical support: Assisting patrons with internet access and other technical needs
• Managing inquiries: Handling inquiries over the counter, by phone, or by email
• Performing other tasks: Assisting with administrative tasks like filing, data entry, and record keeping
