Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining automated test frameworks, specifically using Cucumber. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java programming, familiarity with Git version control system, experience working in an Agile environment, and exposure to the banking domain. Additionally, knowledge of Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines will be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cucumber framework to validate software functionality, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, identify test scenarios, and translate them into automated test cases.
Implement and enhance test automation frameworks, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Work closely with QA teams to troubleshoot issues, analyze defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to contribute to project success.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in test automation, with a focus on Cucumber framework.
Proficiency in Java programming language, with hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles, with experience working in Agile teams.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Exposure to Azure cloud services and experience.
Knowledge of banking domain concepts is desirable.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
