Conduct research on target industries, markets, companies, people, and competitors to support sales and growth efforts
Compile, synthesize, and analyze large amounts of data from multiple databases to produce business insights that guide strategy and tactics for growth
Collaborate with the Sales Director, various practice leaders, and other business development personnel to generate target lists and detailed market opportunity and prospect profiles
Produce routine firm growth reporting, sales dashboards, trend analyses, and pipeline assessments using CRM and Power BI
Support sales budget management, reconciling monthly financial reporting
Support end users with training on the firm s reporting and data tools, including CRM, Power BI, and others
Contribute to CRM data quality and augmentation efforts
Serve as a power user of marketing and sales research applications, including ZoomInfo, Demandbase, PitchBook, IBIS World, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, among others
Support, as needed, the firm s commission automation software upkeep and reporting
Perform other sales operations support duties as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience required; experience in a professional services environment preferred
Advanced Excel skills and experience analyzing complex data strongly preferred
Experience performing market research with online tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Pitchbook)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex issues to others
Strong organizational skills; able to effectively prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to collaborate and work effectively across functions/departments/teams while building trusted relationships and positively influencing others
Knowledge of CRM systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics) and Power BI preferred
Knowledge of, or experience with, financial modeling preferred
