Lead - Mobile App Development

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mobile App Lead to spearhead our mobile application development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in mobile app development, a passion for creating cutting-edge applications, and the ability to lead a team of developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance app performance and user experience.
• Define technical standards and ensure adherence to best practices in development.
• Oversee the end-to-end app development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, QA, backend teams) to ensure seamless integration.
• Mentor and guide a team of mobile developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards.
• Ensure app security, scalability, and performance through thorough testing and adherence to industry standards.
• Ensure pen-testing of mobile app, and remediation of mobile app vulnerabilities
• Engage with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and align technical deliverables with business objectives.
• Provide technical insights during decision-making processes
• Monitor app analytics to identify and address performance bottlenecks and user feedback.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge by researching new technologies and software products, participating in educational opportunities, and reading professional publications.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support during pre-sales activities. - Assist in creating technical proposals, estimates, and project plans for client engagements.
• Interview and recruit developers for following stacks - Swift, Java, Kotlin, React Native, and Flutter.

• 6-8 years of years of hands-on mobile app development experience and good experience of leading. Candidate plays role of individual contrinutor and lead.
• Extensive experience in mobile application development with a focus on architecture and design.
• Good experience in leading complex mobile solutions that may have integrations with other IoT/ Cloud/BLE/Web solutions
• Good knowledge of the latest technology trends in mobile and other supporting technologies such as Cloud, IoT and Web. Experience in leading innovations and Proof of Concepts in emerging mobile technologies.
• Demonstrated expertise in Wifi and/or BLE technologies.
• Deep understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their respective ecosystems, including development frameworks, SDKs, NDKs and tools.
• Proficient in mobile development languages and frameworks (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Java, Flutter, React Native).
• Good knowledge of Architecture Patterns like MVC, MVP, MVVM, VIPER etc.
• Experience with modern design patterns used with mobile application architecture.
• Strong understanding of backend integration (APIs, databases). Experience using RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and app store deployment.
• Knowledge of security best practices for mobile apps
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git, is a plus.
• Technically, lead a team of mobile developers through reviews, mentoring and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers.
• Good problem-solving skills and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent customer-facing skills for technical requirements gathering and presentations and managing client relationships.
• Leadership and mentoring skills with a focus on team collaboration and productivity

• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, web technologies
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities.

Education Requirements: Bachelors/masters degree in engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
