Key skills for the job
Specific responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
Leading the Mumbai team which is responsbile for the execution of NFR Metrics program and reporting for Firmwide, Regional, Legal Entity and Business Units
Collaborating with NFR Coverage teams, Metrics owners, data providers including adressing data quality issues, breach commentaries and remedial actions
Assisting in metric governance process including maintaining and annual attestation of Metrics inventory and supporting the Metrics Steerco
Perform compartive/gap analysis to recommend new metrics and collaborate with Metrics owner and data providers to establish new metrics
Work across Data and Analytics, including Data Governance to ensure reporting adheres to data governance controls and assist in data improvement
Assist in managing strategic projects, including development of Metric Manager Tool
Modeling data on the backend as well as telling a compelling story on the front end through effective data visualization.
Developing visualizations and presenting that data to senior leadership that is intuitive and clearly communicates the desired insight.
Understand data relationships, structures, and data manipulation.
Managing teams performance. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members.

Requirements
The ideal candidate would have:
Bachelors or Masters degree Computer Science or equivalent work experience
10+ years of working experience in financial institutions or consulting firms including 3+ years of managing a team
Knowledge of Regulatory landscape - Operational Risk, Compliance, Financial Crimes, or other areas of financial regulatory requirements and expectations (domestic and international).
Experience creating and defining metrics, measures, and leading through data lifecycle (source to reporting)
Well versed with Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with agile project management methodologies
Experience with project lifecycle steps such as requirement gathering, testing or roll-out
Experience with relational databases and data models, and ability to query complex databases using SQL
Experience with using Data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau/PowerBI)
